11/26/2009 - 2cnd Annual PRO-Webs Prediction Bowling Tournament Results

I want express my deepest thanks for all the prediction tournament bowlers who showed up Thanksgiving day at Bill Whites Akron Lanes. We had a great time and it was pretty exciting as well. The prediction tournament platform is a great deal of fun. Essentially bowlers guess the total number of pins and strikes for 3 games of regulation bowling.

This year, 4 bowlers were within 1 pin of their guess... and 3 bowlers hit the pins and strikes on the nose.

Todd Younkins - Predicted 540 pins and 12 strikes

Shane Heaton - Predicted 560 pins and 15 strikes

Denny Cooley - Predicted 572 pins and 12 strikes

.....all three hit their predictions perfectly!

These 3 then began a prediction rolloff... on new lanes. The first ball each predicted 9 pins, Shane hit this alone to grab the HDTV and first place. Denny and Todd then preceded to throw 2 more prediction frames where they each threw a strike as predicted. The 4 ball in the roll off each predicted again a strike, but only Todd got it. Denny's 9 count placed him in third place and Todd in second.
